Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival, you will be met and welcomed to Uganda. Depending on your arrival time, you will be transferred to your accommodation to rest before the journey into the wilderness begins.

Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart Kampala early to avoid city traffic. Your first stop is the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 2-hour rhino tracking experience. After lunch at Kabalega Dinners, proceed through Masindi to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Ride in Murchison Falls

Explore the Pakuba game trail along the Albert Nile. Spot lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and wild cats with the Blue Mountains of Congo in the distance. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the Nile to see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale National Park

Depart Murchison Falls and drive via Buliisa, enjoying the views of Lake Albert and the Rift Valley escarpment. The route takes you through Hoima and Fort Portal before reaching the forest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland

Head to the park headquarters for a briefing and ranger assignment. Spend 1 to 5 hours tracking chimpanzees in the forest. In the afternoon, take a nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to see rare birds and primates.

Day 6: Semuliki River Exploration

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha)

Day 9: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
