DAY 1: To Bwindi NP for your Luxury gorilla trekking tour

Depart Entebbe for your 8-9 road transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in South western Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to half the number of mountain gorillas in the whole world and is the only place where chimpanzees co-exist with Mountain Gorillas.4 Day Luxury Gorilla

You will have an en route stopover at the Equator crossing for photographic and simple experiment before continuing to Mbarara town for Lunch. After lunch, you will embark on your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge or Mahogany Springs Lodge.

DAY 2 of 4 Days Luxury Gorilla Trek Uganda Lake Bunyonyi: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Trek.  Trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas. Which takes you from half an hour to three quarters of the day.

The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the park headquarter.

This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge or Mahogany Springs Lodge.

DAY 3 of 4 Days Luxury Gorilla Trek Uganda Lake Bunyonyi: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxing and recreational activities.

Drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale District. Lake Bunyonyi one of the three Lava damned Lake formed when lava flowing from one of the volcanoes blocked a river channel and water was forced to flow back hence filling the space to create lake Bunyonyi. Bunyonyi locally means small birds due to the abundance of small birds in this area. 4 Day Luxury Gorilla: Lake Bunyonyi said to be the deepest lake in Uganda and second deepest in East Africa. A person visits Lake Bunyonyi for its beauty and is one of the best places to relax after your gorilla trek.
